Blurring the line between document and artistic expression is very often the focus of Malta based photographer Alex Attard. Driven by curiosity, he observes, filters and analyses absence and presence and records the overlooked performance. His aesthetic varies from the stark and minimal to quasi abstract and prefers to develop his work in series in an attempt to scrutinise and explore a subject as extensively as possible.
