This work is part of The Beauty of the Given Moment Series. This photographic series is a consequence of a gusting wind and a satellite dish struggling to hold on to its wavering television signal. The force of the wind is such that it interferes with the transmission, resulting in a faltering and pixelated signal during the airing of a concert celebrating the great Italian maestro, Claudio Abbado who had passed away a few days earlier.

Photographed in its entirety directly off the television screen, this body of workevidences the raw, interrupted narrative at a given space-time interval involving the wind, the satellite dish and the video signal. It transcends the emotional and the obvious and aspires to record the often overlooked and disguised beauty of the given moment.
