Il-Kamra ta’ Fuq is an independent contemporary art space located above the historic New Life Bar in the village of Mqabba, Malta. Since its establishment, it has built a reputation as an intimate yet dynamic platform for experimentation, dialogue, and the presentation of both emerging and established artists. The gallery is committed to showcasing innovative practices across disciplines, encouraging risk-taking and critical engagement with contemporary issues while fostering connections between the local and international art scenes.

With its unique setting, il-Kamra ta’ Fuq embraces its roots while offering artists and audiences an alternative to institutional frameworks. Its ongoing programme of back-to-back exhibitions includes solo and group exhibitions, cross-disciplinary projects, and collaborations that highlight the richness and diversity of contemporary artistic practices.
