Red Aura was painted 3 weeks after the birth of Calleja's first born child. The new beginnings brought about a turmoil of emotions together with a clarity that more than ever she wanted art to be an important part of her life. This was painted on location from Salib ta’ L-Għolja overlooking Fawwara.
