This work could be interpreted in various ways. It reminds us of the characteristic heat waves that usually hit the Maltese Islands during these months, a red flame rising out from the burnt charcoal of a bar-b-que; a red sail or a red dress standing out from the crowd. It is ultimately about the colour red itself and the emotions it stirs within each one us.
