LILIANA FLERI SOLER
Liliana Fleri Soler (b. 1964) is a Maltese artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans sculpture, painting, installation, and assemblage. Her work delves deeply into the human experience, often blending abstraction with figuration and incorporating surrealist elements inspired by the human form, animals, and botany. With a foundation in both art and science, her creations reflect a unique synthesis of intuition and inquiry.
Fleri Soler’s work has been exhibited both locally and internationally. A standout piece is her interactive hand-operated kinetic sculpture “I will get there somehow…”, installed at Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus in 2012 as part of the EU project “From Arrival to Departure.” Her artistic contributions are notably diverse — ranging from permanent public artworks, to creative contributions to multiple editions of Science in the City, to collaborations with leading organizations and design firms. Her works are held in numerous private collections, both in Malta and abroad.
