Demonstrably classical in approach, surreal in thought, Karl Fröman's figurative works put themselves in a realm on the fringe of what is a Nuevo-realist movement with roots in the Florentine and Dutch tradition. Born in Sweden raised in Australia he went on to live in China and England giving the artist's work somewhat of a nomadic echo and uniqueness not tied specifically to a single culture. Having finalised his formal training at the Florence academy of Art the artist ventured on to the island of Malta where he runs his Atelier as a central hub for young aspiring artists to learn and develop their direction in their vocation.

Karl participated in numerous collective exhibitions and this is his second solo exhibition in Malta. His works can be found in private and public collections worldwide.
