David Debono (b. 1981) is a figurative artist living and working in Gozo. His inspiration stems from the simplicity of everyday life, particularly that of his homeland, which he transforms into poetic and, at times, symbolic compositions.

 

His preferred medium is oil paint. Debono studied under the mentorship of world-class artists Vincent Desiderio and Steve Huston.

 

His work has been exhibited in various galleries locally as well as in Italy, and is held in numerous local and international private collections.
