MARK MALLIA
Mark Mallia (b, 1965), is an artist whose oeuvre diverges between abstract and expressionist paintings and sculptures in mixed media. His works are very provocative, challenging and at times disturbing, He uses found objects, adorning them and elevating them to high art. Mallia is known for his maverick character which is conveyed in his diverse spectrum of works. His most renowned series are the grotesque Caricatural Portraits and his Crow Series. Mallia is currently collaborating on exploring the new space between art and artificial intelligence. He has exhibited in Malta, France, UK, Miami and Monaco, amongst other places.
