Born in Mqabba on the 22nd July 1969, Antoine Farrugia is a self-taught Maltese artist who is influenced by the love of the medium and the emotional energy he derives from it, to express his deepest feelings. The stillness and chastity of these sculptures catapults the viewer into a world of sensual forms that are so reminiscent of Farrugia's oeuvre.
